Nationwide players are competing at the amateur level seeking athletic distinction.

In youth basketball, there are competitive arenas like the National Youth Basketball League (NYBL), Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), Youth Basketball of America (YBOA), USBA, and USSSA that sanction exhibition games in a tournament format.

Through the sanctioned events listed above along with independent tournament organizers and shoe brands, junior players fill gyms in popular cities to established their reputations prior to entering high school.

Because it is imperative that aspiring players get proper instruction in preparation for gameplay, we start Competitive Club basketball in November. First, we host tryouts with a goal to select 20 - 30 players per grade.  Once the groups are selected, players join weekly training and practice sessions until February. In February, official rosters of 10 are announced.

Club Basketball Format

In February, the majority of these organizations host basketball tournaments with a 3 game minimum. Games usually begin Saturday mornings and one in afternoon. Semi-final and championship games on Sunday.
